Ramesh Bimagani

Ramesh Bimagani, Clinic Director, was drawn to a career in physiotherapy because he wanted to help people, and in particular, to assist patients recovering from sports injuries so they could return to their sport of choice with an expanded participation.

He achieved his Bachelor’s Degree in Physiotherapy and has been practicing physiotherapy since 2000.

During that time he has worked extensively in the areas of musculoskeletal injuries, neurological conditions, and cardio pulmonary rehabilitation, ICU an sports injuries at various health care facilities in India and Canada.

His quest for knowledge and adventure combined to encourage him to move from Bangalore to Calgary in 2005, where he has been practicing his profession successfully since that time. He has also acquired certification in spinal manipulation.

His other advance skills include use of manual therapy, myofascial release techniques, personalized exercise prescriptions, vestibular therapy, and use of acupuncture.

He is affiliated with the Acupuncture Foundation of Canada, the Canadian Physiotherapy Association and the Alberta College of Physiotherapists.

Ramesh also provides foot assessments and custom-foot orthotics.

He is a family man, and his wife, Arthi Bimagani is a dentist. They have two lovely children, Tanusri and Pranav.

When he is not working, he enjoys spending time with his family. He also has a keen interest in sports including tennis, cricket, running, hiking and skiing.

He is committed to the community he serves and is a firm believer in giving back as a volunteer and champion of projects. Because of that he has achieved a reputation of distinction in his community. He contributes greatly to a number of not for profit organizations to spread awareness about the practice of healthy living.

Aanchal Badhwar

Aanchal Badhwar

Aanchal graduated with a Bachelor of Physical Therapy in 2010 from Foothills or River Ganges in Dehradun, India and completed her Post Graduate Diploma in Emergency Management from Ontario in 2012. She has worked as an outpatient physiotherapist since 2017. She specializes in Temporomandibular Dysfunction (Jaw) and Pelvic Health Physiotherapy (Men and Women). Aanchal also believes in Dry Needling to be an amazing adjunct to her practice to optimize recovery and is certified for the same.

She has previously worked as a personal trainer and is certified kettle bell, TRX and Mobility instructor. She also has training in Mulligan Manual Therapy and Core Strengthening.

She believes that good health requires a Proactive Effort and is always working towards learning new techniques to maximize wellbeing and minimize injury. Swimming and cooking are her favorite hobbies besides watching movies with her husband.

Luv Manchanda

Luv Manchanda

Luv was inspired at a young age by family members who worked in healthcare, ultimately choosing a health career for himself. He takes an active, hands-on approach to helping people recover including joint mobilizations, soft tissue release and therapeutic exercises. Above all Luv enjoys building strong relationships with clients, integrating a client's family life, work and passions in order to help them reach their personal goals.

To date Luv has years of clinical experience working with diverse clients ranging from sports injuries, motor vehicle accidents, work-place injuries, postural imbalances, repetitive strain injuries, low back injuries and post-operative cases. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his family and friends, hiking, running, eating good food and travelling. Luv is fluent in English, Hindi, Urdu and Punjabi.

Dr. Baltej Parhar

Dr. Baltej Parhar
Doctor of Chiropractic

Born and raised in Calgary, Dr. Parhar always had a keen interest in sports, health, athletics, and performance. Growing up he played many sports, such as basketball, volleyball, soccer, and bhangra dancing. He studied biology at the University of Calgary, but he knew he wanted to go into the healthcare field and help people not just to live without pain, but to perform at their best. After volunteering with stroke patients and helping them with their rehab, including exercises, physical therapy and occupational therapy, his passion for rehab was solidified. He moved to Toronto to pursue a Doctor of Chiropractic degree at CMCC, before coming back to his hometown to serve the community he grew up in. Dr. Parhar believes that education is the first step in empowering patients to get back to living their best lives. In addition to chiropractic adjustments, he is also trained/certified in medical acupuncture, mental health first aid, and instrument-assisted soft tissue manipulation. His practice style incorporates a lot of exercise and rehab so that his patients recover faster and learn how to be independent.
